Belcarra licenses a class driver to OEMs for the Apple Mac OS/X operating which enables networking of peripherals to the Mac desktop.
Using Belcarra drivers for Macintosh, OEM providers can make their devices available as Ethernet interfaces to Macintosh users. The drivers, installable as kernel extensions that run under 10.3.9 and newer, connect using CDC-ECM and provide DHCP services. Future versions of the Macintosh driver will allow CDC-EEM.
