FAQ - What services does Belcarra provide?
Belcarra Technologies has software and hardware
engineers who specialize in qualifying USB drivers on new hardware or
new versions of existing hardware.
Belcarra works with OEMs to test and validate their
chosen USB Device Core (UDC), in many cases prior to even beta versions
of silicon are created. We work directly with silicon manufacturers,
using their development boards and tools, to ensure that the USB
subsystems the OEM relies upon meet Belcarra's "Gold Standard" criteria.
Once the OEM has devices in the field, Belcarra will
provide ongoing support in the way of driver updates, second and
third-level technical support, and in some cases increased
functionality updates. Belcarra also provides certification services to
OEMs to ensure that updated silicon continues to meet the exacting
standards required by USB software.
Belcarra's experience with device driver and application software's interaction with the UDC has resulted in a number of changes to major manufacturers' standard offerings as well as custom devices; changes that have meant higher reliability, faster throughput and extended functionality.
